Realms

The word realm is commonly used in the Solara system as a colloquialism for the planets, though the term apply to a wider range of locations. Excluding Mekkan, each planet in the system has a core formed of a specific type of pure mana, while Mekkan instead has veins of each type of mana spreading across the entire planet, reaching from the gates all the way to the core. Non-planetary realms such as the Divine Realm and the Outside also exist, these realms interact differently within the Solara System.

After the destruction of the old world and the collapse of the gates, Terra painted the realms anew under the guidance of all the deities. Most of the realms were created from the mana left behind by the former gates, with new gates created to allow mana to flow from the realms into Mekkan. In addition to bringing mana to Mekkan, the gates serve as access points to many of the realms; however, they are heavily guarded to prevent their misuse.
