Felis

Overview

Felis is a realm closer to Solara, less is known about the inhabitants than many of the other realms. The land is infused with many metals, often precious. The plant life is similarly infused with metals. The high concentration of metallic materials gives the planet a beautiful shimmering appearance.

The planet has oceans of crystals which lead into rivers, streams and lakes. Several towers of crystal and metal protrude from the planet and often are carved out for homes of the native species. Rumours tell of beautiful cities of crystal, held up with precious metals.

Fauna

Many of the species on Felis are unknown due to limited exploration; however, a few species have been discovered over time. Genies, are a species native to the planet, they are a species of semi-corporeal beings with the ability to control fate, luck and wishes though they cannot typically do so without a wish being made first.

Other species are suspected to exist, although not much is known about them. People tend to believe that these species may be somewhat like the creatures native to Tierra Del Leon; however, until expeditions are sent to determine this, the rumours cannot be confirmed.

Flora

The flora of Felis is known for the metallic nature. Large golden palm trees line the shore of some of the landmasses, while the land is covered in grasses made up of many metals, such as silver, cobalt and others. Flowers of varying sizes and metal types also exist on Felis, with types of plants having similarities based on the continent that they are found in.

Continents

Auris

The primary continent of Felis, covered in protruding towers of metals. At the centre is a tower of spiralling gold and silver with a giant bell at the peak; this is where Metallia primarily resides as the protector of the gate. The grass is golden in colour and the land resembles rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Trees with brass coloured bark and crystalline fruit grow in clusters throughout the continent.

Cobaxa

A mountainous continent with blue rocks and grass. The ground is filled with veins of crystalline formations, including the same crystal (Magitanzanite) that forms the tusks of Purple-Tusks. The continent has many caves and mountain springs with crystalline water in them, rumours claim that the water has magical properties.

Aegirius

A desert of pinkish sand with large outcroppings of Aegirine crystals from the depths beneath the sand. The Scorpia believe this continent to be their afterlife as they commonly view aegirine to be of particular religious and spiritual importance. During an invasion of Mau Hedj, the Scorpia found depictions of Aegirius drawn by a Kito'an adventurer, thus beginning their belief that the continent was in fact their afterlife. Many of the Aegirine crystals on Aegirius are connected to underground hollows, for unknown reasons, these often contain weak points between Felis and other realms, resulting in elements of those realms leaking through. Some of the hollows lead to large interconnected cave systems.
