Thunderbat

Thunderbats are a species native to Daemus, many of the race live within giant caverns filled with electrical mana that has leaked from the planet Tesla due to an arrangement between Vaermina and Aviana. The caverns in which they have many homes dangling from the cavern ceiling by means of electromagnetism that Thunderbats nest in. They have a somewhat bad reputation amongst flying races for their habit of inadvertently kidnapping some people after being attracted to the electrical charge on them.
Overview
They are inherently attracted to electricity, especially within people. Their favourite foods are Teslan delicacies such as the Battery Lemon and the only sustenance they get from living creatures is the blood from non-demons. Thunderbats can use a form of Storm magic in order to fly faster or to power up attacks with electricity, many Thunderbats use their wings to hold someone still and paralyse them temporarily with electricity.
Thunderbats are generally one of the kinder types of demons; however, in rarer cases some particularly bad Thunderbats have used their abilities for evil. One of the Demon Queen's subordinates was a cruel Thunderbat that would paralyse victims to bring them to her for sacrificial reasons. Many more friendly Thunderbats have formed strong alliances with Demon Summoners or other people outside of Daemus.
Biology
Thunderbats very much resemble the Avians of Mekkan; however, they have significantly more bat-like wings and ears, along with relatively small but sharp fangs that stick out of their mouth slightly. Thunderbats are typically below the average height for humanoid species; however, cases of significantly taller and shorter Thunderbats have been documented. Unlike Fallen Angels and Lilin, the wings possessed by Thunderbats are capable of flight at high speeds, although quite like those species of demon, the wings are notably sensitive in certain places.
Thunderbats have excellent hearing and are capable of using their mouths to produce a series of clicks which rebound off of objects back to their ears in order to give a basic idea of their surroundings using echolocation, this allows them to see in environments where light is limited, such as deep caverns. Contrary to popular belief, Thunderbats do not have inferior sight to a majority of other humanoid species, thus can be difficult to elude as they can track a target under most conditions.
Thunderbat genitalia has many similarities to that of Avians; however, they are capable of building up electrical charges within their genitalia if necessary as both a means of self defense and as a strange adaptation for the purposes of breeding by using a series of small shocks to stimulate the partner into climax. Thunderbat genitalia is surprisingly sensitive to shocks compared to the rest of their bodies, allowing for it to be used as a form of stimulation.
Mythology
Several old legends incorrectly depict Thunderbats as being an alternate form that Vampires may take, it is suggested that this misconception came from the author of a famous set of fictional works who witnessed a vampire Blood Summoner calling upon a Thunderbat, but during the summoning process, lost sight of the vampire.
Some Avian legends warn young avians to take caution when flying as a mysterious creature kidnaps those who don't stop to rest in long flights. It is evident that this legend is a tale used to scare children into taking safety precautions when flying, with the mysterious creature being a stand in for the Thunderbats that accidentally kidnap people with notably high static charges built up from prolonged flight.
