Overview

One of four artefacts created by a group of powerful Elves long ago, the tome was created by Carinae and enchanted by Aerith. The Tome of Omnimagic allows the user to cast magic of any single type, so long as it can be written into the pages of the book as a rune by the user. A user with no link to the Fire Gate would be able to cast a fireball using this tome; however, they could not combine this magic with another type.

This artefact is not considered a Divine Artefact as it was not directly created by a deity, it was instead enchanted by one and is considered a Mortal Artefact due to the enchantment being relatively limited in power compared to Divine Artefacts. The book is currently held by a Celestial Elf by the name of Cosmos, one of the few remaining Runecasters.

Effects

• '''Runic Omnimagic''': Allows the user to cast any form of Gate Magic written into the book as a Rune or set of Runes. This can allow for somewhat complex magic to be cast by individuals who do not have access to the Gate required for the magic they are casting.

Weakness

• '''Single Type Casting''': The book rejects multitype Runes, being entirely unable to cast them. This weakness was added by Aerith to prevent the book being abused by any individual to give complete control over magic.
• '''Weakened Mana''': Due to requiring mana conversion to function, the book is unable to cast with 100% mana efficiency. The book reduces the power of magic cast through it by a small amount unless the spell that is cast matches one of the casters Gates.
