Golemancy
Golemancy is a branch of magic running tangential to Necromancy, this branch of magic is focused on creating a vessel for souls which can be controlled in some capacity. Golemancy can be achieved with many types of magic, though requires Arcana as a base for the creation of systems required for a Golem.
Overview
Golemancers make use of Arcana to create a vessel for a soul that acts as the core for a structure formed of materials that may be shaped and given function with the other magic available to the Golemancer. It is not required to learn Golemancy to be capable of controlling a Golem, though it is often beneficial for making the most out of complicated creations.
A Golem may be designed as a temporary vessel for an individual to transfer a large section of their soul into, allowing for their actual body to be protected in many situations while still allowing for an individual to act. Other types of Golems include more permanent versions, requiring a total transfer of the soul.
Most Golemancers are only capable of creating relatively basic Golems, with capabilities implemented by means of infusing mana of different types. Some functions that these Golems may be able to achieve include flight and expulsion of mana as projectiles, beams or prolonged output of a material (e.g. fire, water etc.), though this is not the extent of these functions. Advanced Golemancers may be capable of further function, though the only known cases of advanced techniques come from the work of a master Golemancer by the name of Lei, who has managed to successfully create Golems with more realistic sensory systems, artificial skin and accurate proportions that do not fall into the uncanny valley.
Impact of Mana Type on Golems
{| class="fandom-table"
|+The table provided is not an exhaustive list of effects that mana may have on Golems, only providing a baseline idea of possibilities within the expansive, though underappreciated art of Golemancy. The material effect can often tie into the use of existing physical materials to build a Golem; although, it is possible to use entirely mana generated materials to form a Golem. Use of mana based materials may offer more flexibility in the shape or capabilities of a Golem, but is significantly more complex to maintain and as such is not viable as a method for creating Golems required for long term usage.

!'''Forest'''
|N/A
|Forest Magic is able to create Golems formed of plant-like materials, often taking the form of tree or vine based bodies. These Golems tend to be more vulnerable to fire, but can be repaired easily by drawing energy from the forest.

!'''Fortune'''
|N/A
|Fortune Magic is commonly used as it provides a stable base material with a balance of durability and strength. These golems don't usually have many unique traits.
|Fortune Magic can be used to allow a Golem to create magnetic fields to move metallic objects with ease.
