{{Artifact|title2=Blade of Rituals|creator(s)=*Garnet
*Aerith|known_users=*Garnet|type=Ritual Dagger|sentience=No}}

Overview

One of four artefacts created by a group of powerful Elves long ago, the blade was forged by Garnet, and enchanted by Aerith. The Blade of Rituals allows the wielder to store a number of rituals, instantly create a single ritual at a time, and sustain the ritual for a few moments. It also contains a blood stone which can store the blood of a target, allowing a ritual to only affect a single person. It is unable to create and sustain more than one ritual at a time.

Despite being enchanted by Aerith, it is considered a mortal artefact as it was created by Garnet. The enchantment is relatively weak when compared to those placed on Divine Artefacts. This artefact is still considered lost.

Powers

Effect

  • '''Ritual Storage''': Allows the user to store Ritual Magic within the blade, this is limited to 5 rituals at a time and these can be overwritten.
  • '''Ritual Creation''': At any one time, a single ritual can be instantly brought forth from the blade. This means that the blades wielder would not need to draw the ritual circle to cast the spell.
  • '''Ritual Targeting''': Blood can be stored within the Blood Stone in the blade in order to select a specific target, thus meaning a ritual will only apply to them, this can be used to ensure only the wielder can be healed by a healing ritual, or that only a specific target can be harmed.

Weakness

  • '''Weakened Rituals''': Rituals stored within the blade sacrifice a level of power in favour of speed, potentially putting the user at risk if their ritual is not effective enough.
