Artane

Since Terra drew and painted the world many inhabitants have found beauty in it and to express their creativity through art. Originally started by Terra's race the Angelics who made the first dyes and paints, they then turned to mana and started to merge various types of mana to create works of art, thus creating the school of magic known as Artane.

=Chromat=
A Chromat is a mage who uses mana to create subtances they are normal used for art, but can also be used in other day to day applications.

Paint

Paint was the first Artana made, paint is a substances made of Light and Prankster developed by the first Kitsune to visit Valkuria, originally it was white as it was made of two types of Mana, however in later years adding a third type changed its colour. Paint is used to either draw or to be thrown as a projectile paints also can be combined for various effects. A Paintist is a Chromat mage who has three types of mana and makes one type of paint.
A Chromat painter is a mage who only possess Light and Prankster and is able to manipulate the other colours of paint but is unable to create anything but white paint. In recent years mana paint is more easily able to be produced so Chromat Painters are slowly more common, mainly around Halla or Unity as there are the major schools for the Artane.

Ink

Ink was believed to be the second earliest Artana, it was conceived in a dream by a Kitsune who witnessed a strange dream of a being (Outsider) creating a black substances and using it drawn or fight of strange creatures. It's true original creator is Shade. Those who use Ink are know as Inklings or Inkers.
Ink is a denser fluid and can hold its form better they paint, They use are created by mixing Dark and Water mana as the base, the first original Black ink was actually created with Dark, Water and Prankster and remains to be one of the strongest Ink types. However unlike paint there are less colours.

Chalk

An odd Artane that revolves around leaving behind marks of a residue from a solid. It was first devised by a bovine trying to learn paint, but only had Light and Earth mana.
